REVIEWS: Piano student Kathi grew up in a musical family, self-taught until 7th grade, when she began studying with a private instructor. She attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, for a piano performance degree from 1980-1982. After that, she performed and toured for three years in a Christian Rock band. Kathi returned to school at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for two years, studying under Julliard graduate Mac McCray. Upon completion, she moved to Nashville to continue her career and teaching, then to Shallotte, NC, in 2019. Kathi has been performing and teaching since 1985. Her styles include jazz, classical, pop, rock, and R&B, offering traditional and by-ear lessons. If you continue past the first lesson, your card will be charged on the following business day for the remaining month's lessons and auto-billed on the 1st of each month after the first month. If you choose to cancel by the following business day, your card will be charged for that lesson. If you have a valid reason for being unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are FREE!
