Betty Anne grew up in a musical family. She started playing and teaching herself at the age of seven. Later she studied privately with her grandmother, a professional pianist, for four years. She has performed since she was a teenager in church. As an adult, Betty Anne took two semesters of private piano lessons in college and two semesters of private organ lessons. Betty Anne continues to perform in church and in the community. She has taught since 2012 and offers classical, gospel, contemporary Christian, pop, musical theater styles, and Spanish lessons.
