Rob's Bio:

Rob graduated from Johnson C Smith University in Charlotte, NC with a music education major in 1982. Robert toured throughout United States from 1983-1990, playing keyboard with a top 40 band. He also spent two weeks performing in Italy. Robert was musical director for the hit gospel play "My Grandmother Prayed for Me". Robert began teaching in 1992 and his styles include gospel, pop, R&B, and classical. Robert has owned and operated his own recording studio since 1992, and currently performs regularly in his church band. Rob offers R&B, gospel, pop, rock, and light classical. He offers by ear and light traditional lessons.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
