Nick began his journey with the piano as a small child and dedicated 12 years to private study under multiple professional instructors. This rigorous training allowed him to master both traditional sheet music reading and the creative art of playing by ear.
Since he began teaching in 2015, Nick has offered a wide variety of styles to his students, including R&B, Gospel, Jazz, and Light Classical. His ability to bridge the gap between formal theory and modern improvisation makes his lessons highly engaging for students of all interests.
Nick’s teaching personality is described as easygoing and patient. He is passionate about helping students find their own musical voice, whether they want to follow a classical path or learn to jam with a modern band.
Nick teaches from a designated home studio in West Midland (near Andrews Pkwy and Midland Dr), equipped with an upright piano and keyboard. He also travels up to 20 miles for in-home lessons.
Online Setup: For remote students, Nick provides a professional online experience with a full camera and computer setup to ensure clear communication and demonstrations.
