Justin holds a Bachelor's in Cello Performance from the University of NC Greensboro, in Greensboro, NC. He also has over eleven years of study in Cello Pedagogy. Justin has been performing in orchestras, chamber groups, and pop/rock bands since the early 2000s and continues to perform in various bands and venues. Along with teaching and performing, Justin is also a recording artist and expert in audio engineering. He began teaching in 2012 and offers a diverse range of styles, including classical, pop, rock, R&B, Hip-Hop, religious, and World Music, among others.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.
We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.
Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice. Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
