He was awarded a writing and composition scholarship for Berklee, and while there, he studied under jazz masters. Julphan began studying classical piano at the age of 8, and at the age of 12 he began teaching himself guitar. Through high school he formed his own rock band where he wrote a lot of the music. Julphan has been teaching since 2008, and he offers classical, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and R&B styles. He's currently launching his first Jazz instrumental debut album.
