Julia

Julia is a highly versatile musician and educator based in Clayton, California. She received her formal musical education at Holy Names College in Oakland and specialized in Liturgical Music at the Berkeley School of Theology. Her extensive academic background is complemented by years of rigorous private study, providing her with a sophisticated understanding of both classical theory and practical performance.

With a career spanning over three decades, Julia has established herself as a leader in the musical community. She served as a Liturgical Music Minister for over 25 years, during which time she directed choirs and served as a cantor. Her performance resume is diverse, including numerous musical theater productions across the Bay Area and regular appearances at weddings, parties, and other special events. Her technical excellence has been recognized with multiple Superior Awards from the CMEA association.

Teaching since 1990, Julia offers expert instruction in Voice, Piano, Flute, and Guitar. She is a distinguished member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, where she serves as a professional Adjudicator. Her stylistic mastery is comprehensive, encompassing Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Rock, Swing, Big Band, Reggae, and more. Known for her outgoing and encouraging personality, Julia creates an inspiring environment for students of all ages to discover and master their musical potential.
