Jonathan began playing piano at the age of 4. At the age of 9, he won the Isabel Scionti Prize at the Kingsville International Competition. At 10, he was the youngest American to qualify for the 2nd International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz. Jonathan received a Bachelor in Piano Performance at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI, and continued to receive a Masters in Piano Performance from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. From 2013-2016, he was the adjunct instructor of piano and staff accompanist at Hillsdale College. Jonathan has been performing since the late 1990's as soloist and in ensembles, and teaching since 2005. He offers classical and contemporary styles. Along with teaching privately, he currently teaches at a local music school and is a collaborative pianist at a local University.
