Heather is an elite vocal educator and performer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music and continued her studies there to receive a Master of Music in Vocal Performance in 2006. Her foundation in singing began at age eleven under the mentorship of a professional Romanian opera singer.
Throughout her career, Heather has established a prominent reputation in the worlds of Yiddish music, musical theater, and opera. Her professional credits include singing for film and a PBS documentary, performing at the Folksbiene Theatre in New York City, and composing for the Yiddish Theatre Ensemble in Berkeley. Heather has worked internationally with Sundance (MA), Music Theatre Group (NYC), YIVO (NYC), and the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto, as well as performing in Hungary and Israel.
An accomplished recording artist, Heather has produced and recorded four albums. From 2015 to 2024, she has balanced a career as a cantorial soloist and freelance singer with various musical ensembles. Teaching since 2006, Heather offers master-level instruction in Musical Theatre, Classical, Folk, Pop, and Cantorial styles. Her easygoing and supportive personality makes her lessons highly effective for students of all skill levels.
Heather teaches from a designated studio in Las Vegas, providing a professional and focused environment. She is also an expert in high-quality online instruction and travels for in-home lessons throughout the Las Vegas area.
