Alex graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA with an AA in Guitar Performance in 2010. He continued to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA to receive a Bachelor In Music Production (audio engineering) in 2017. Alex has performed as lead guitarist for theater productions and clubs in Los Angeles in different genres with top musicians. He's also played as a session musician in festivals and rodeo events. Alex began teaching in 2014 and offers rock and hard rock, blues, classic, pop, and metal.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.
We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.
Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice. Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
