David is a dedicated musician and educator based in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from SUNY Purchase and a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College.
With years of experience teaching and performing, David is proficient in multiple instruments, including Saxophone, Clarinet, & Flute. He is an active member of the NYC jazz scene, bringing real-world performance experience into his teaching.
David offers lessons in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, as well as online instruction. He enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their musical voice through jazz, classical, and contemporary styles.
David's teaching approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, ear training, and improvisation. He tailors lessons to the individual interests of the student while ensuring a solid technical foundation.
