David graduated from the Phillips Jr. College in Salt Lake City, UT to receive an Associates degree in 1994 for Business Management. He began playing drums at seventeen, and soon after studied under a professional instructor and musician for 2 years. He continued to study at Brighton Music for 4 years, learning to fine tune his technique and dynamics, studying jazz. Soon after, David began performing professionally in bands for rock, pop and Jazz, and started teaching part time. In 2005, David began teaching privately full time, and at the Jordan Music School. He offers rock, syncopation, linear playing, shuffles, fusion drumming, double bass funk drumming, Latin styles, jazz, independence snare drum studies, and stick control.
