Cydney is an accomplished violist, violinist, and educator based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. To further her mastery of her craft, she continued her elite training at the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned her Master’s in Music Performance in 2022.
Throughout her academic and professional career, Cydney has been a featured member of multiple orchestras and symphonies. This deep background in ensemble performance provides her with a sophisticated understanding of orchestral repertoire, intonation, and technique. Beyond the concert stage, she has shared her knowledge as an educator in public schools and at the university level at UNC Pembroke, where she also assisted in organizing performances for the music department.
Teaching privately since 2019, Cydney is known for her professional and methodical approach. Her reserved yet insightful personality creates a focused and productive learning environment where students of all ages can thrive. She offers expert instruction in Viola and Violin, helping students build a rock-solid technical foundation while fostering a deep, artistic connection to their music.
Cydney provides lessons from a professional studio environment in Winston-Salem and offers high-definition online instruction for students nationwide. She is also available for in-home lessons throughout the local area.
