Xujing (pronounced Shoo Jing) is currently working on her Doctor of Musical Arts in Clarinet Performance from the University of Minnesota School of Music in Minneapolis, MN. Before that, she graduated with a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance at the Peabody Institute, Baltimore, Maryland, in 2022 and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China in 2020. She has multiple rewards from music fellowships, festivals, and the universities she attended for her clarinet performances. She has performed in countless symphonies as principal clarinetist since 2016. In addition to her performance career, Xujing is a dedicated educator with experience teaching clarinet at various institutions in both China and the United States since 2016. Her roles include clarinet instructor and Chinese language tutor, reflecting her commitment to fostering musical talent and bridging cultural gaps. She offers classical and contemporary styles.
