Click for Student Review: Guitar student
Bob has built a career based around musical pedagogy, performing, composing, and recording. He has taught music in various institutions, designed an effective, state of the art guitar curriculum, and helped advance students from beginner to conservatory level. He has also maintained a dynamic performing and recording career. Bob has written, recorded and performed with National Broadcast, held the guitar chair for nearly 10 years with SCJO, currently leads a local jazz band, and has studied under the close tutelage of Lonnie Mardis of the New England Conservatory, as well as Dave Peck of the Cornish College of the Arts. Bob's philosophy is that he would be only half the music teacher that he could be if he wasn't continually out in the field proving himself, growing, and absorbing new ideas and methods to his approach. As a teacher, Bob strives to reach his students through the music they really want to play, keeping the lessons fun, focused, and motivating.
