Barry earned his B.A. in music in 2003 and his Masters in 2007, both from Queens College. There he studied with top professionals for jazz, classical and modern styles. Since then, he has performed at venues ranging from Lincoln Center to LaMama. He performs a wide variety of music with acts across the tri state area including Marc Ribot, New Beard, Anti-Social Music and ThingNY. Democracy, the first album dedicated to his classical work, will be released at the end of 2012 as well as Years In The Garden of Years, with the rock band Edensong. He has been teaching since 2002, teaching flute, piano, keyboard, voice, drums, guitar, and bass, and has worked with students ranging from professional musicians to children with disabilities. Barry teaches all styles and traditional as well as by ear, and is experienced with special needs students

If you continue past the first lesson, your card will be charged on the following business day for the remaining month's lessons and auto-billed on the 1st of each month after the first month. If you choose to cancel by the following business day, your card will be charged for that lesson. If you have a valid reason for being unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are FREE!
