Ashley is a highly qualified musician and educator based in Unionville, Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Connecticut and a Connecticut Teaching Certification for grades Pre K-12 from Central Connecticut State University. Her professional training covers all concentrations of music education, providing her with a comprehensive pedagogical foundation.
During her time at UConn, Ashley was a prominent performer in the opera department, taking on multiple operatic roles and participating in the UConn Opera Outreach program to bring the arts into public schools. Her performance resume includes world-class venues such as Lincoln Center and The Bushnell, as well as being a featured soloist at First Church Congregational in West Hartford. She has also had the prestigious opportunity to perform in the Candlelight Processional at Disneyworld.
Teaching since 2012, Ashley has extensive experience in both choral and general music within rural and urban Connecticut public school districts. She currently serves as a music educator for grades Pre K-5 and was a grant recipient for her innovative work in establishing a ukulele program. Known for her outgoing and fun personality, Ashley offers expert instruction in Voice, Piano, Ukulele, and Flute, tailoring her lessons to inspire a genuine love of music in students of all ages.
