Amanda graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor in Music in 1999, than continued there to receive a Masters in Music in 2003. She grew up in a musical family, and began studying piano as a child under her mother who is a music teacher. Amanda has played piano since the early 1980's, and guitar since the last 1990's. Amanda is currently a singer and composer for the praise and worship music at her church and performs locally for special events. Amanda has been teaching since 1999 privately, including coaching musicians for auditions and a musical career, as well as at a university. Her styles include classical/opera, Broadway, country, gospel Contemporary Christian, and sacred. Amanda believes in a healthy vocal production, good dictation, lyrical interpretation, and performance techniques.
