Eric holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music from the University of Connecticut (UCONN), and has studied privately under some of the top rated musicians across the country. While in college he performed with the wind ensembles, orchestra, and traveled the U.S. with the UCONN Pep band and UCONN Marching Band at such major events as the 1996 World Series at Yankee Stadium, halftime show for an NFL game in Buffalo NY, and the 1999 NCAA Final Four and Championship Basketball Games. Eric has performed with well know musicians (too many to mention) since the 90’s, and has performed for former Presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbechov, among many others. Eric currently performs with several musicians and bands, performing many different styles and venues, including musical theatres, jazz clubs, Princess Cruise Lines and big bands. Eric has been teaching since the early 1990’s, formerly teaching as a jazz-assistant at a local academy in New York City. He offers all styles and has taught at band camps throughout the Northeast. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at a community college and private schools, as well as owner of his own studio. Along with performing and teaching, Eric has also recorded projects. He was a member of the 1994 Connecticut All-State Jazz Ensemble as the #1 drum set performer in Connecticut. Eric is a Member of the Percussive Arts Society and is endorsed by Precision Drums & Silverfox Drumsticks.
