Michelle's Bio:
Michelle received her Bachelor's in Vocal Performance from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2001, followed by her Master’s in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland Opera Studio in College Park in 2004. Michelle has been teaching since 2007 and performing professionally since 1998, singing principal and supporting roles, as well as singing with professional choruses, in opera, musical theater, and cabaret. While she is a classical vocalist by trade, Michelle has experience singing jazz, pop, and sacred music, as well as conducting. She has won scholarships and awards in vocal competitions since 1998. Michelle continues to perform in venues, including opera and Broadway/contemporary settings.
