George has been teaching since 1988 and has worked with many of the top names in the music industry, including Lou Rawls, Bill Cosby and Barry White. He has endorsed Samic guitars and has written his own music instruction books, CD's and DVD's. In 2005 George received a special award for writing music for 3 films: 1st Place for Best Video, 1st Place for Best Comedy and 2nd Place for Drama. He also writes music for gigles, radio ads and special effects for videos. Along with teaching for Melody Music Studios, he has also taught at the metro community colleges in the area. George played the music for the Metro community college Great Plains Conference series, providing music for the plays of the great playwrights Edward Albee, the triple Pulitzer Prize winner, and August Wilson. John Beasle who starred in the General's Daughter, 'Rudy' and 'The Apostle' was one of the actors who performed while George played solo guitar. George teaches and performs blues, jazz, latin, R&B, rock and roll and all contemporary styles. He can also teach harmony, theory, improvisation, song writing, instrumental writing for films and how to write and copyright your own songs as well as critique singing and playing, recording and helping garage bands to get out of the garage and into professional songs and playing for paid gigs. Over the years George has played for numerous TV shows including Merve Griffin, Mike Douglas, Smothers Brothers and Saturday Night Live.
