Andrew started playing the guitar at the age of 13. He is currently attending the University of North Texas part time for a Music Major for Classical Guitar Performance, expecting to graduate in 2018. He has already completed all his courses for his music major degree and has been studying guitar privately. Andrew also attended music camps from 2007-2010. He has been playing the guitar since the age of sixteen, where he began studying for 5 years before college. During high school and college, he performed and competed in choirs, where he learned vocal technique, along with his own private studies. For his piano training, he started playing while in high school and studied privately for a short time. He continued playing piano through first year of college, and passed his piano proficiency. Along with performing in shows and various venues, Andrew is also a composer and took composition courses at the college, performing his own works. He's been teaching since early 2014, and his styles include classical, rock, blues, funk, hair bending metal, finger style acoustic, slap guitar, rap, and reggae, to name a few.
